Privacy policy

Ensuring the correct protection of your personal data is one of the ways we respect your right to privacy. It is therefore the aim of this Policy to be transparent with all individuals who send us their personal data in any way in order to contact us, look for opportunities, indicate some support, receive our news or make contact for any other reason.

In this Policy, we will inform data subjects about how their personal data is processed on this website, clarifying what data is collected, its purpose, the legal basis that supports us and the end of the processing.

Please read this Policy carefully, as by providing your personal data on this website you accept the terms and conditions set out here. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us first so that we can clarify them for you before continuing.

Our contact for this purpose is: contatobic-Rio@goethe.de

[1] Scope of this Policy

Our Privacy Policy tells you how we will treat the data collected on our website, especially in the fields below:

a) In the Contact tab – “Contact Us”;
b) In the Contact tab – “Submit your Report”;
c) In the Contact tab – “Refer a Supporter”.

We would also like to point out that our website was created using the WordPress platform, which has some special features regarding the storage of data collected. We therefore recommend that you visit the WordPress website(https://br.wordpress.com/) and their Privacy Policy(https://automattic.com/privacy/), which may clarify how they use any data that exists on sites created using this platform.

Despite the use of this tool to create this site, we would like to point out that we have chosen not to enable any plugins with WordPress. The only tool we have used is Caldera Forms, which allowed us to create the forms used in the “Contact” tab.

[2] Regarding Cookies

Our website does not use Cookies and therefore we do not store personal data through this tool.

However, there is a tool called Simple Analytics, which is linked to this site and is designed to obtain information about the visits we receive. This is software that provides us with information about visitors in a generic way, without exposing them individually, since it does not track visitors and does not store any personally identifiable information. See this documentation to find out what Simple Analytics collects (and, more importantly, what it doesn’t collect).
